Our Easy To Follow 5 Step Transfer Process

Initial Call

We listen to your concerns about your existing managing agents and talk you through the benefits of transferring to Hive Block Management.

Site Visit

This is a key stage in taking over any development and allows us to meet with you and other leaseholders to tour the building, taking note of any outstanding issues. It’s also an opportunity to discuss the reasons that have led you to look to move to another management company.

We’ll assess exactly how often cleaners and other suppliers need to attend to keep the building in good condition and highlight any existing contracts which we feel are unnecessary or overpriced.

All our findings are then presented for your consideration in a bespoke report. This will include projected service charges, our plans on how to reduce costs and improve the general management of your block plus additional,  relevant information.

Terminate Current Agreement

Once you’re happy with Hive Block Management’s proposal and you’ve signed the contract, we will ask you to give notice to your existing agent.

Handover Process Begins

On the day that you give notice to your existing management company we send them a checklist outlining all the information we need them to provide and the timescales it is required within.

We then get to work setting up new bank accounts, meeting with the existing contractors, cleaners and gardeners to discuss any issues raised by the leaseholders regarding the current services being provided. Some of these suppliers may be companies we’re already using while other will be new.

Dependent on the outcome of these discussions we may look at alternative providers and obtain quotes accordingly. We will then assess the cost estimates and service proposals and liase with you to select the most suitable and cost effective contractors and utilities providers to look after your building.
